How to name and use the names in the script?

Hi,

I have this problem with characters. I made the reader being able to customize his own character name him, dress him and make his/hers facial (hair, face). But then the problem begins. When I have it like: Let's say her/his best friend ask's the main character what his/her nameis how can I make it so the character will answer with his/her name?

Please help.
