Suggestions on Mongolia visit

We are very interested to explore Mongolia in mid May.

Would like to get some good advises as to whether May period is a good time to visit Mongolia?



We intend to spend about 8 days there, will be keen to also know where are the places to visit and any good suggestions as to the itinerary.
